This museum tells the fascinating story of Danebury Hill Fort, which lies to the south west of Andover. The hill fort was excavated between 1969 and 1988 and is one of the best studied sites of the British Iron Age.

The Iron Age is brought to life, with real objects from Danebury, alongside life size models and reconstructions. Visitors can imagine eating dinner around a typical cooking cauldron ("Mmm, fish fingers again for tea, Mum?"). You can also find out about farming, religion, trade, crafts and warfare. Well worth a visit.
