Chertsey Museum has over 15,000 objects waiting to be discovered. The assortment ranges from ancient relics to fantastic fashions, and one of the most popular attractions is the well-preserved Viking sword.

Chertsey Museum is based in a fine Regency town house and offers the chance to explore the past through hands-on interaction. Exhibits here include Greek pottery and a fascinating collection of clocks. The Museum is also home to the outstanding Olive Matthews Collection of Dress and Textiles, which reveals the history of British fashionable clothing. The extremes in fashion and in the way we dress are explored throughout the past 300 years. If you think flares are a bit radical, you ain't seen nothing yet...
