Missing you already: Big Ben and Buckingham Palace
The adventure begins... head out of London on the M3, towards the junction with the A303. Now, you can either play I-Spy until you go completely crackers... or stop-off en route, at fascinating places, including Brooklands Museum and Ascot racecourse.
You've left the M3 at Junction 8, and now you're cruising along the A303. Drop by on Solstice Services, a few miles short of Stonehenge, for light refreshments and lavatories.
You've arrived! On Salisbury Plain, you'll find Stonehenge, a moving and magical collection of gigantic stones. Why was this extraordinary circle created? Was it constructed by aliens? And is Elvis really still alive and flipping burgers in Idaho? All the mysteries of the Universe could be answered, if we could just unlock the secrets of the stones...
